Rob Mills:
Working in the medium of photography, Rob shed the fetters of corporate life some 10 years ago and has increasingly explored life as an artist: A second life, re-invention but with same body. Rob has worked extensively with dance - interpreting movement in both conventional images and animations. His work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town. It features on a number of international fine art web sites and has found its way into international fine art photography publications.
Current work includes a unique form of animation best described as a choreography of moments using sequences of images and dance. This has components of stop frame animation, time lapse and slide show.
Rob lives and works in Johannesburg, South Africa with frequent forays to Cape Town. Father of three, husband to one, friend to many amazing people who make his life rich (and somewhat confusing) beyond measure.
